E-learning Content Manager

Our client is seeking an E-learning Content Manager (Lead Instructional Designer). Responsible for the development of all e-learning content and the implementation of content into the Learning Management System, the successful candidate will also manage a small team of E-learning Developers.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining content and keeping up to date
• Managing SCORM courses database and compatibility with other Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Tracking and managing SCORM courses currently out with customers
• Implementing third party content into the company’s LMS
• Managing relationships with third party vendors
• Liaising with consultants on development of content for new courseware
• Liaising with consultants on maintenance of existing courseware
• Managing current language library ensuring it is updated as course content is updated
• Managing new translations
• Fully specify the Instructional Design requirement and the solution as part of the Design Specification document
• Ensure the specified solution is feasible within the time/budget/other constraints of the project
• Brief Instructional Designers and Scriptwriters to ensure they successfully implement the overall training design in individual course storyboards
• Manage implementation of content into customer sites
• Estimating production times and creating cost proposals in consultation with the development and sales teams
• Analyse the customer's Instructional Design requirements and provide advice and consultancy on achieving the project goals
• Attend project kick-off meetings with clients
• Guide the customer on actions needed to ensure the success of the project, highlight risks and suggest mitigating actions
• Review and mentor E-learning Developers, Instructional Designers and Scriptwriters to ensure that quality criteria are met
• Review issues with the customer as they arise (e.g. scope creep, script quality) and agree resolutions
• Liaison with vendors for all external development of courses
• Liaison with sales team for all customer content issues / development
